My other artworks for the Human Chessboard Challenge.
I was considering Image 1 for submission because I really love the Queen’s pose and the King’s expression. But the chessboard didn’t turn out that well in this image, and the falling Knight doesn’t look as good either. Images 2 to 6 were ones I generated mainly to explore which camera angle worked best.
I went with the Queen taking out the Knight because the Queen is the most powerful piece in chess, while the Knight is visually interesting and makes the action more dynamic. As for the King, he’s pretty useless in the game, so he just stands there looking shocked lol.
