Dark blue-green water, floating sediment, wet black hair drifting over her blank solemn stare right into the lens, just like a distressed 35mm underwater take.

About this image

This haunting close-up underwater portrait depicts a gaunt, somber woman with disheveled floating dark hair, staring directly at the viewer from within murky, debris-strewn dark teal water. The piece has a gritty vintage film aesthetic, with desaturated cool tones, floating air bubbles, and textured water particles that build an eerie, tense atmosphere. The unsettling tone aligns with gothic horror, dark fantasy, and folkloric water spirit or siren character themes.
