Back view of a man at a vintage steampunk desk

About this image

This atmospheric dark fantasy steampunk scene depicts a lone, back-facing scholar seated at an ornate vintage desk inside a lavish underwater library study. A massive riveted brass circular porthole behind the desk frames a giant, swirling cosmic eye looming in the dark deep ocean outside, creating an eerie, watchful, surreal tone. The warm dim glow of antique lamps illuminates floor-to-ceiling bookshelves and brass decor, contrasting with the cool dark teal of the deep sea outside the porthole.

That sums it up. In the early days of the challenge I wrote a blog suggesting it was like putting coins in a slot machine. These days it is so easy to create a good image. The models and harness are so good, all the tools like ChatGPT to write prompts etc. So almost all entries I see are good, and really majority could be top 10. And some people like Sealine just have the knack of creating a subject and style that is appealing - the knack I lack 🤣

I have definitely had that happen too and it frustrating! But it has a great visual impact with the huge eye, it's a library at sea and it was unique in a good way.

It is hard to anticipate what will work or not. Seems a mix of replicating the sample image and description with a few more original ideas.
