i was very little when this was aired, i remember watching it just because it was "toons" and i liked the music and songs, then years later i watched it again, this tv show was really so ahead of its time

When this show came out I was still young enough to feel like high school was only a couple of years ago (OK well maybe college was only a couple of years ago). All these years later and I still feel that way though. Gen X, only generation to feel 32 at age 13 and still feel 29 at age 52

I mean there was way more romantic tension between Jane and Daria than there ever was between Trent and Daria. The creators can deny it all they want but they need to let these two come out of the closet.
