🖤❤️ A Dangerous Love ❤️🖤 @crabmouse invited us to submit a vampire creation to their Sensual Vampires theme. We’ve only ever published one vampire image, but it was pretty sensual, so we’ve animated that one image and set it to a Goth song that Gael and I both like. We dedicate this animation to @JustAsh, a gorgeous woman who also has a certain fascination for dangerous ladies haha. So, here you go, Ash, a sensual vampire who just barely manages to choose love (or is it lust?) over hunger. Finally, we should mention that, like many of our creations, the start image uses a modified Style block from @justrob. Yes, being alone is definitely better than being abused. I wish I could offer tips for finding your people, but the truth is Gael and I don't hang out in LGBTQ+ circles. Our family and a few close friends know about us, but other than that, we mostly interact with regular society and pretend to be 'normies.' There is a WLW Youtube couple we like, and they sometimes offer 'sapphic excursions' for other WLWers. Wasn't quite 10 years but it was close enough as to make no difference. Kept getting sucked back into it for years. Truth is I just haven't ever really found my people I guess. I may have missed my window, honestly. But again being alone is better than being bled dry by an abusive emotional vampire. Thank you for your kindness. I feel the same way about you too (rooting for you to be happy together all of your days). Stories like yours actually do give me hope that there are still beautiful things in the real world too.

Yes I know all about being bled completely white. Over most of a decade my toxic narc abusive EX did exactly that. She didn't drink blood but she consumed everything else and vampire is truly a term that describes her as well as any. As I think about that now it makes me pretty angry I wasted so much time and effort on her. I'd have been better off alone than I was with her. And here I am years later STILL trying to put myself back together after I finally walked away from that disaster.

Yeah I'm not hugely involved in the community either. I think I've been to Pride maybe twice in my entire life. Thank you for the link I will check it out. I appreciate it. And yes I go through most of life doing my best to just be a "normie" (or as my doctor says her GF calls them... breeders). I live in a red state, I live in a large metro so that's a little safer but it's still a red state and you never know what to expect from people these days...

Don't be embarrassed! As I've mentioned before (and Gael agrees, which is probably why we're still together after 20 years), any relationship involves sacrifice and compromise. And allowing your partner to metaphorically drink your blood--as long as it doesn't kill you, of course--represents a great sacrifice, showing that you're willing to do a LOT for your partner. We both hope you find someone, Ash! (Just make sure she's a good one, or she'll suck your blood and not give you much in return!)

Indeed? Although Anne Rice makes being bitten sounds like a very sensual experience and Dracula has always been about sexual desire and oppression... I embarrassed to say it but I would let her drink if she promised not to kill me when she did it.
