A late arrival, @jmn joins in with @suga2309 and @legion and my samurai-in-training cat to see who can finish chugging their beer first. Who do you think will win?

About this image

This atmospheric sumi-e style fantasy illustration depicts a raucous after-adventure drinking party inside a cozy traditional Japanese izakaya. The diverse party of fantasy characters — a hooded armored rogue with an owl familiar, a catfolk wanderer, a dark armored knight, and a red horned oni demon — all chug from overflowing frothy beer mugs, gathered around a worn wooden table laden with yakitori skewers, pickles, and small pub dishes. Muted grayscale, deep red, and gold ink accents frame kanji lantern signage, creating a playful, rugged, laid-back tavern mood.
