Entry in the Desert Stargazer challenge.

About this image

This moody, atmospheric sci-fi concept art shows an elderly mentor sitting cross-legged on a desert dune beside a young apprentice, pointing upward at a vivid purple milky way, shooting star, and massive curved space station arcing across the night sky. A lit lantern and vintage telescope sit next to the pair, with a futuristic spired city and glowing crescent moon visible on the horizon over rolling sand dunes. The warm twilight palette evokes quiet wonder, intergenerational learning, and fascination with cosmic exploration and astronomy.
