Today he is running supplies and food up the mountain to his friends. Despite the world lying in ruins below, his friends have their faith and help those they make it to the shrine's sanctuary. He gives what he scavenged freely to them. They helped him when he needed it most and in return, he helps when he can. He's not the only one. For an unknown shrine, there's a lot of traffic on this dirt road. Among other things, the shrine houses the only healers for miles around. Even the gangs leave them alone because the healers just do their best with what supplies they have on whoever comes in injured or sick with no questions asked and only a light coating of philosophy given.
