I also work the community and hear of such cases and we have protocols and actions to take for these identified. It all boils down to “would you agree to have help in cleaning up?” That is the most important step

Ah yes that too. I was mostly referring to the size of the kitten increasing by the end of the set. Tbh I know to some extent as to what hikikomori go through [social anxiety and isolation]. But I never lived with trash build up like that. Jeez, you see it in anime sometimes...so sad.
