I was looking for a darker form of iridescent. I tried violescent but it's "becoming violet" so it shows various shades of violet but not in an iridescent way. I like using violescent tho just because it does add more variance in the purples in a scene.

thank you. It did turn out lovely. It was when I was experimenting with the difference between iridescent and opalescent. Guess which this is?

CaylaCatz

thank you! I'm glad with that because I changed the eye color after I saw the opalescent as the previous eyes didn't work as well.

CaylaCatz

thank you! Actually I think they are opalescent. Opalescent and iridescent are similar but opalescent tends to be more pastel

CaylaCatz

thank you! I did want that feeling for these as I pictured them as smallish dragons. Maybe panther sized.

Sealine

Interesting! Yes, the wings do have the fiery beauty of an opal so that makes sense!

CaylaCatz

iridescent is mother-of-pearl. opalescent is the shimmering on white opals. this one I think was opalescent.

Unleashed

That's absolutely beautiful! The colors are perfect together, especially the eyes.

Nice flight, you can tell they are very agile

I have no idea, really; I'd say it's like mother-of-pearl.
