While they did not believe in his methodology, government officials and university researchers could not argue with his results as he produced giant vegetables year after year with no chemicals and using only natural methods. The farms around his had normal vegetables. The officials and researchers followed him, writing down their observations but they could not duplicate his results. When he died, his farm no long produced giant vegetables. While he listened to plants, no one listened to him enough to learn his methods.
