Round porthole view of a steampunk observatory

About this image

This surreal, dreamlike fantasy illustration depicts the interior of an ornate steampunk observatory, viewed through a rounded porthole frame, centered on a large glowing iridescent planet orb resting on a tiered circular platform. Floating bioluminescent pastel pink and pale blue jellyfish drift through dark starry cosmic space above scattered open ancient spellbooks, brass laboratory apparatus, and tiny floating island formations with glistening waterfalls. The artwork uses rich gradients of teal, lavender, warm gold, and soft pearlescent highlights to build a mystical, otherworldly atmosphere blending steampunk, sci-fi, and whimsical fantasy aesthetics.
