Redid a 2023 SDXL prompt in Flux-Dev. First image is the Flux Dev image generated 1/20/26, second image is the old SDXL image with the old simple prompt: Yellow striped blue kitten, cute chubby kitten enjoying the summer sun, pale blue skies, green grass, yellow sun rays : 0.8 Then I redid the prompt the way I'd write it now. For one thing I wouldn't say kitten twice (In 2023 often used to write my main subject twice before to make sure it showed up, lol). And these days I try to make it look more active so I threw in an action. I still wanted a simple image so didn't describe the background. cute yellow striped blue chubby kitten chasing butterflies on a lovely summer's day, pale blue skies, green grass

Thank you! I agree. One of the things I love about models now there's more variety in characters if you prompt for something like "chubby". I think back then, and even in some models now, there was a big bias towards the "ideal" body form whether it's a kitten or any other character. Of course, it could just be chonky cats have become more popular so there's more images to draw from.

Thank you. Yeah, the third one I changed the prompt from the original. I usually add an action in prompts now but I didn't back in 2023. Back in 2023 I was so focused on getting something with the right fingers nad toes, pose/action was down the list. It's so much nicer now.

So cute! Love the addition of an action in the third and the chubby description came through much better.
