About this image

A vintage Jules Verne travel poster featuring Phileas Fogg in a top hat alongside a companion, with steam trains, ships, and an ornate banner reading “Around the World in Eighty Days.” The rich, warm colors and period details evoke classic adventure and exploration themes, blending European and Indian imagery to hint at a globe-trotting journey.

A dramatic illustrated poster for Jules Verne's The Mysterious Island blending adventure and fantasy. The artwork features a volcanic island with a sailing ship, an airship, and explorers gathered around a map, set against warm, cinematic tones with jungle wildlife like a tiger and a parrot.

A dramatic poster inspired by Jules Verne's Journey to the Center of the Earth, depicting climbers navigating a glowing cave while massive sea monsters surface below. The dark, rocky cavern contrasts with warm, fiery highlights, creating a sense of epic fantasy adventure and peril.

You kidding? There are MANY!!! Look up a list of them! Even I have not read them all - in facct i'm hunting down those i haven't and buy them Each summer I re-read (or read for the first time ) a couple of them. I discover remembering scenes in them that I haven't thought about since I was a kid. It's roght what they say: It's all there inside our heads.

Great to hear that faerierealm! (Don't worrt, liles-objective was completed eearly on. When that happens, I post my day's posts late so as to catch next day's likes. If I see they don't, I post early so as to collect more likes that day. I'm kind of cunning, that way🙂

Thank you Cayla! Of course I could go on & on wwith his books - and perhaps I will! Robur & it's sequel 'The Mastet of the World' were among my all-time favorites of his books

I'll find that list. I do enjoy readng Verne. They are probably all on Gutenberg. A book is better but if you can't find the more obscure ones, it's a decent back up.

The only one I hadn't heard of or read was Robur the Conqueror. I loved all the other books. They were awesome! As movies too. Cool images

  • @faerierealm ·

I loved Jules Verne when I was little! (P.S. Sorry I had a very busy day at work so didn't get here before the reset.)

  • @panos ·

I will agree with you, it was the best-done. That's why I placed it as the header od the set.

  • @faerierealm ·

Ah good thinking! Alright, if I see a late post, I'll assume you want hearts after the reset.

It's great! I recently watched one of the Journey to the Center of the Earth movies.

Great, there's a collection of all his books in my house from before I was born
