And let me express my admiration for your very long, very lustrous, very, VERY ... RED hair!! Spidey-Lute: Oh, Gods!! It's official: This guy needs therapy! The Bard (whispering): Quite now, little Spidey-Lute! Don't screw this for me now. Just play my wonderful music and let me sing. Spidey-Lute: ...YOUR music?!! The Bard: Hush, now, little Spidey-Lute, 'tis not the time to go into matters of copyright... just... play for these wonderful red-haired Beauties. Spidey-Lute: ...Oooooh, all right!! Cat: Why, Alice!!! Your ears!!!!!! Alice: Ha! Wonderful isn't it? It's the height of fashion in this town to have elf-ears! Cat: But... how? Alice: It's this Dream Draught! It has splendid taste and it gives you elf-ears. Have a drink! Wizard? The Wizard: Yeah, thanks but no thanks, Alice. My life's dream is NOT having big, pointy ears! Alice: Oh, come on now, don't be such a spoilsport. It doesn't last long! Catherine? Cat: ..Ehrmmm.... B) The company is under attack by a new horrid variant of Nightgaunts - this one with faces - somewhere in the Dreamlands. The Bard: Take courage, my friends!! I will sing this Ballad of Heroic Deeds to strengthen your Resolve and Uplift your Morale! Alice: AVAUNT, foul creatures!! Ha-haa!! I LOVE saying that! The Wizard: Back OFF, creeps!!! Belial, and I thought, FACELESS Nightgaunts were horroble! Quickly, Cat! Find me that Nightgaunt-Banishing spell! Cat: I'm trying, but this book is just... WEIRD! Look at it! And the index is all mixed-up!!! The Wizard: It's a Dream-Grimoire, Catherine!

Thank you my friend! A few words: The creatures are Nightgaunts - a creation of H.P. Lovecraft, that inhabit his Dreamlands where this story is set. Their main characteristic is they are faceless, which the model ignored totally 😄 The woman is Alice (of wonderland) She features in @CaylaCatz 's series of comic strips - where the idea for this Dream Quest was born. As to why she has elf-ears here, I explain that in the text

Oh yeah, Spidey-Lute will be complaining about the Bard in every detail 😳😁 At least the one on the ground is faceless 😉 After they tried so long to get faces and hands right with AI, it's difficult to tell them, that you want now something without a face ... or just three fingers or so 😅

I believe we're on HIS corner of the Dreamlands created by him! A Gentleman - and a Bard Never Tells! (Though Spidey-Lute will tell every detail to the Wizard, I'm sure!! 😄) They're Nightgaunts and they're supposed to be Freaking FACELESS, byt model chose to give them faces😡

Great pictures 😊👍 ... it has to be the bards dreamlands with all these readheads 😁 and I wonder what happened in the first scene, that the bard is still grinning in the second picture, when getting attacked by the faceless ones ? (what's their name again ? 🤔)

As always, great creature design. The winged devils look killer. The steampunk elf is very charming, and keeps growing on me. Her expression as she shoots one of the black winged things is particularly disarming.
