Vintage WWII-era women in military uniforms in a bar

This is a scene I wrote for my new creative fiction. Calista was sitting in a pub waiting for somebody but the GIs can't take a hint that she isn't interested. Her friend Kate arrives and dresses the two soldiers down for their rudeness. Kate isn't angled quite right but the general flavor of the scene is here.

I honestly don't know yet. I'm learning that publishing has just as many scams as everything else you can find online these days.
