yeah, AI tends towards what is most common and when people say freckles, or someone with freckles in an image, it's usually someone with Irish type red freckles. If you're doing someone who doesn't fit the stereotype of what the AI thinks is most common, then you have to write out the difference to match your person. Imperfections in skin can be freckles, moles, scars or acne. It seems the AI is trending towards freckles and moles. When you have someone with more melanin in their skin you might say "imperfections, tan or brown freckles, and visible pores..." to take the reddishness out of the freckles.

I'm Asian American and in the early days of AI you had to prompt more specifically to get an Asian/Asian American look because back then the default was Northern European. Nowadays, it seems to be more mixed/diverse so prompting has gotten easier. Now I can just say Asian American and get the look. You still have to prompt for more square or more round face as the default is oval, or for a smaller nose as the nose still tends to be European. But it's gotten so much better than before.

Cool. Those freckles look reddish to me which is more Irish. The Asians and Asian American freckles I have seen are dark brown to black, occasionally tannish. Those freckles look Irish to me. Is Li Mei in Mortal Kombat of mixed heritage?

Maybe it is prompt error. I write "imperfections and visible pores on the face"
