QT: yokai 妖怪 My spin: A Yuki-Onna. A beautiful, ageless woman with skin as white as snow and long black hair in various anime stylings https://budgetpixel.com/p/19419

About this image

An anime-style heroine leaps forward with a luminous ice sword, slicing through a swirling snowstorm formed by a deep icy vortex. The blue hues, shattered ice shards, and dynamic pose create a high-energy fantasy action scene focused on magical weaponry and winter magic.

Dynamic fantasy illustration of a female anime hero swinging a glowing crystal ice sword through a spiraling snow-filled vortex. The cool blue palette, sharp ice shards, and high-energy motion convey wintry magic, battle-ready mood, and epic action.

An anime-inspired fantasy artwork showing a girl in a flowing white robe summoning ice magic to duel a soaring white owl. The snow-covered shrine courtyard and bright blue ice shards create a dramatic, wintry mood with vibrant colors and ethereal glow.

I like them. It just takes a while to comment back. I'm finding tho that BP has an unusually high percentage of people with no pics so that saves time. I'd say 70% of the commenters don't have pics or just have uploads of reg pics or memes from other sources, not AI images. I've never seen that before on an AI platform. Usually 95% or more of the commentators have AI pics they made. I think we have a lot of people from Twitter who just like to look and comment but that's speculation since I never saw the phenomena before. I do know some of them make pics but don't show them because they'll have a pic in the top 10 but if you click on it to go on their page, the DC pic isn't showing. So different from me. I like the sharing aspect. `

yeah, I saw that today that they bumped it to 100. I think one reason is I made the mistake of reminding someone about it and they put up a lot of blog posts with one prompt, sharing the one prompt. I've been telling/reminding people all along but I think that caused a surge. I could be wrong. Maybe they were going to change it anyways after the blogs reached a certain point. And now we have to get to 500 to get the 3000 credits so that's a lot harder. Most of mine have reached 500. It just takes time. Sighs.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

Yeah, blog posts can be nice. They front load the credits so you get credits at 50/200 claps and then that's it. Unless they choose you as a blog pick, then you get 5000 credits. If you go to your blog post, and click on your name there, it pulls up your blog menu. If you do more posts, under rewards, you can see which ones have gotten which rewards. You can also see your whole list of blogs and the # of claps and visits if you like stats.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I am trying to keep my QTs down to 1 every few days. Mostly I do it when I want to see how others might do one of my ideas or experiments like yokai, -punk, fantasy or surreal ideas. I don't really see much of those kind of things on QTs and I'm not that into reality images. I mostly do reality stuff for DC if I do the DC. Voting is much faster here than on NC which is nice.

  • @DavidP ·

And you have done many more than I have. May also be that perhaps my earliest would have done better as I think number of users as grown significantly. I have some more ideas that I will write blogs on and who knows, perhaps will land some more 1000c rewards. I am no longer hoping to reach the 3000c level. Pity, but can udnerstand why they limited it. A bit like the issues that NC had with their 'earned not purchased' credits

  • @DavidP ·

You've had way more success than I have had. You must be more well-known and liked with the general population, or just write more interesting blogs --- Guess mine don't appeal to the mass readers, or maybe don't get enough views and claps to make it into the trending area. Broke 300 once. So I am resigned that I am likely to achieve the 1000c reward if I nudge friends, and that'll now be as good as it gets.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

They are generous with their blog credits so I can understand their raising the bar. It's too bad tho. When I do a blog with a lot of different model pictures to show how they compare, the 1000 basically pays for the blog. I hope I continue to get the 3000 or I'll have to change the style of blog I do and not do so many different models to show something.

  • @CaylaCatz ·

It depends. Challenge & tutorial do well. Kitchen Sink blogs got to 50, no problem, but not to 200. I do them for myself as my memory sucks. The blogs have a better toc so they are easier to find. https://budgetpixel.com/u/DavidP/blogs . Still 200 was ok to get to and most of mine got there. 500 tho is another story. Many don't reach that. https://budgetpixel.com/u/caylacatz/blogs

And when I started I was fussing about the 30 likes. But that is no longer an issue, so can slow down to reduce the time to respond and still get the likes. Though a couple of blog posts well supported and credits aren't an issue

  • @DavidP ·

I think we are so similar. I think I will slow down on my posts as it is taking hours to write a simple acknowledgement of a comment that says nothing, then jump to the profile, and view and comment where there are images.
