About this image
A group of nuns in brown habits share a quiet meal in a rustic convent refectory built of stone, lit by candles. In the foreground, a young nun wearing a white lace veil sits at a wooden table, while a nun at a podium leads a prayer or reading in the background. The scene conveys contemplative monastic life and traditional religious dining.
