Osiris was a powerful Goa'uld system Lord who adopted the persona of the ancient Egyptian god of the afterlife, death, and resurrection. Known for cunning and long-term planning, Osiris was once an ally - and rival - of the System Lords during the height of the Goa'uld rule. Thousands of years ago, Osiris was defeated and imprisoned in a stasis jar by rival Goa'uld (including possibly Ra or Anubis), effectively removing him from power. A modern times, Osiris was accidentally released on Earth and took a new host: Sarah Gardner, a former acquaintance of Daniel Gackson. Using Sarah's body, Osiris resumed his ambitions of reclaiming power among the Goa'uld, forming strategic alliances and attempting to locate lost technologies to strengthen his position. Though intelligent and manipulative, Osiris ultimately struggled to reestablish dominance in a Galaxy where the balance of power had shifted. Osiris is notable for blending Goa'uld ambition with a composed, almost regal demeanor, offer often favoring strategy over brute force. @mim86 @skarletfever
