The Order of the Captive Eclipse

Entry in the Secret Society challenge.

About this image

This epic dark fantasy concept art captures a mystical coronation ritual set inside a towering cathedral-like astronomical palace, anchored by a radiant annular eclipse framed by giant engraved armillary rings. Rich tones of polished black marble, gilded gold, and deep burgundy fill the opulent space, with tiered stone balconies lined with robed, masked guards and nobles watching the ceremony. Ethereal light spills out from the celestial eclipse, lending a dramatic, reverent mood as the kneeling central figure stretches out a hand toward the cosmic event.
