Surreal fantasy scene of mermaids pulling netted sailors

About this image

This whimsical surreal fantasy illustration depicts a mirrored world where iridescent tailed mermaids drag captured sailors in fishing nets beneath a turquoise ocean layer. Below the water line, 18th century sailing galleons float above a glowing golden sunset sea of clouds, with onlooking pirates watching the scene unfold. The artwork uses rich deep teal and warm honeyed golden tones to build an enchanted, mythical fairy tale mood.
