Vintage Engraved Black Cat PNG — Transparent Background, Free Download

Antique style engraving of a sitting cat looking back over its shoulder with curled tail

About this PNG

Fine cross-hatched line art of a seated cat rendered in a 19th century encyclopedia engraving style. This illustration is ideal for Halloween, gothic design, or vintage animal reference projects.

Prompt: “Antique nineteenth-century engraving of a black cat sitting upright in side view facing left with its tail curled round its paws, looking back over its shoulder with pale eyes. Fine black ink lines with dense cross-hatching, an even off-white paper colour filling the inside of the subject, no other colour, the look of an old encyclopedia plate. One single subject, whole and centred with empty space all around it, on a plain flat mid-grey background, evenly lit, with no gradient and no shadow on the background. No text, no letters, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no frame, no border, no extra objects” — AI-generated, its background removed, and reviewed for quality before listing.

Editor's note (8.0/10): The illustration closely matches the brief with crisp hatching and correct anatomy, only deviating slightly from the requested pure side view facing left.
