Top view of a full frame checkerboard end grain butcher block with alternating pale maple and dark walnut wood squares

About this photo

This crisp, natural close-up shows the contrasting warm tones and tight growth ring details of a mixed maple and walnut end grain butcher block. It works perfectly as a texture overlay, kitchen design reference, or rustic background for food and woodworking projects.

Prompt: “end grain butcher block texture filling the entire frame edge to edge, square blocks of pale maple-wood and dark walnut-wood end grain, top view” — AI-generated and reviewed for quality before listing.

Editor's note (9.0/10): Sharp, evenly lit, and perfectly matches the brief, with only very minor natural grain variation that does not impact usability for design work.
