Sometimes the AI shows all the emojis like clipart instead of a scene ☕️🍩🪑😻👗👠💄 I wanted a cat at a cafe wearing a dress and I got that instead. So I tried again. Sometimes the AI will add a human when there is no human emoji 🎨👗😺☕️🍪🪑🌞 The emojis included coffee, cookies and a chair. Instead of an anthropomorphic cat like previously, I got a young woman. I still got my cat tho. Double the Emoji to emphasize something 🎨😺😺👗☕️🍪🪑🌞 Sometimes if you're not getting something, if yu double the emoji, you will get it. Sometimes you get two tho. Here I doubled the cat and got 2 cats and no human. Action Emojis 🏄‍♂️🌊 Now this is a little different. The man surfing without anything in front of him is a man surfing. 🐧🏄‍♂️🌊 But the surfing emoji can be a verb. If you put something in front of it like a penguin, the penguin is surfing. The AI understood the water drops as water so I got a waterfall with river instead. It's beautiful, tho. All of the above was GPT 1.5 Low. Let's see how other models do with. Results will vary a lot with each generation. Often in longer strings, not all the emojis will show. While GPT 1.5 Low tried to show the actual emoji flowers like the sunflower and tulip, you will find that when you have a large grouping of emojis meaning the same type of thing, some models will only show one type or a few instead of the variety. It's a mix of style. You have a garden wit flowers in one style. The rainbow is claymation. The water looks just like the emoji, lol. The white clouds and sun match and look a little inflated. No mountain. It's interesting but I prefer the same style through out. Nano Banana failed to generate and refuses to make an image. I have no clue why Flux kontext pro did water with lotus flowers, trees, mountains, clouds and a rainbow. ImagineArt 1.5 has a garden, trees, rainbow, clouds. No mountain, no water. Recraft V4 has wildflowers, water, clouds, rainbow. Now mountain. Qwen Image 2.0 did just a sunflower, white clouds, and a tree. No mountain, rainbow Seedream 4.5 created a garden, trees, white clouds, rain, rainbow. No mountain Conclusion Ok. That's it. That should give you a bird's eye view of how emojis perform in a prompt. If you need consistency and control over what you're making, using emojis is probably not a good idea. If you just want to have fun and play with emojis, you can have fun and make AI art with emojis.
