Emoji mini dictionary part 1 : people & activities

This is by no means a comprehensive dictionary. A couple of weeks ago, I published a " Quick Intro to using Emojis in AI Art Prompts " https://budgetpixel.com/blog/quick-intro-to-using-emojis-in-ai-art-prompts . I thought it might be useful to see a selection of emojis to copy and paste. They are a bit random. And also to see them in images made in GPT 2.0 Low. To find one not here, just do a google search of what you want + emoji. There are several online emoji dictionaries that cover thousands of emojis. The hair color on the head will likely be on the person in your image. The activity accessory alone randomly shows a person or just the item . I prompted one with the head and skate image and one with the skate alone, no person . Notice the person has white hair like the head. 👩🏻‍🦳⛸️ Occupations can be prompted with an accessories like a hat. Some have their own emojis with a person in uniform. Well, a vampire isn't occupaton but I threw her in for fun . "Noun Verb" usually means that Noun does that Verb, right? So it is with emojis usually. "Elf Sword Prince" means the Elf usually holds the Swords. "Elf Sword Prince Sword" usually gives a sword to both of them like below. Some models may read that emoji as a swordfight but usually it's often one sword eahc. 🧝⚔️👲 🧝⚔️👲⚔️ Improvising No baseball bat so improvise! Sometimes there isn't an existing emoji for what you want like a baseball bat so then you have to use whatever is closest. There is no baseball bat but there is a Cricket Bat and Ball. That's a bat! Placing it next to a Baseball should suggest to the AI that the bat is for baseball. Adding a Baseball Hat to the Elf should strenghten the baseball connection and get me an Elf either playing baseball or holding a baseball bat. 🧢🧝🏏⚾ AI models take emojis pretty literally. Elf + Sword + Chef . Is that going to be an Elf and Chef sword fighting? An occupation emoji can be a person or get put on another person emoji. Often occupation emojis get applied to the only person emoji in the prompt if there is one person emoji. So in this case the Elf became a Chef and there's a Sword in the kitchen. 🧝⚔️👩🏽‍🍳 But look! When I have multiple people, Elf, Vampire, Chef, Witch , then the Chef becomes a separate human person. 🧝⚔️🧛🏼‍♀️⚔️👩🏽‍🍳🧙‍♀️ Experiment Time with ( ) , [ ] , { } I really wanted a witch chef so I tried separating with parenthesis. It didn't make a witch chef but I found with GPT anyways, it placed the chef and witch further in the background. And bonus, I got my swordfight with the elf and vampire as they are now separated from the chef and witch . I'd have to test this more to see if the ( ) often works to move things further in the background 🧝⚔️🧛🏼‍♀️⚔️. (👩🏽‍🍳🧙‍♀️) So I tried it with brackets [ ] to see what would happen. They are still in the background but not as far in the background 🧝⚔️🧛🏼‍♀️⚔️. [👩🏽‍🍳🧙‍♀️] Then I tried it with { } and got my Witch Chef. Well, at least I think she's a witch as she's cooking in a cauldron. Hmmm, not obvious is it. Let's try a vampire chef 🧝⚔️🧛🏼‍♀️⚔️. {👩🏽‍🍳🧙‍♀️} Lets try to have the elf fight a fairy while a vampire chef cooks in the background tos ee if the { } works to hint at a merging of emojis. It works but not consistently as can be seen in the next two images with the same prompt. Interestingly, it also divided the scene in 2. 🧝⚔️🧚‍♀️⚔️. {👩🏽‍🍳🧛🏼‍♀️} 🧝⚔️🧚‍♀️⚔️. {👩🏽‍🍳🧛🏼‍♀️} So now I'm going to try { } with [ ] . So in theory the two with swords should be in the foreground. I hoped the vampire chef would be in the background. It failed. I got the split scene again both times I tried. 🧝⚔️🧚‍♀️⚔️. [{👩🏽‍🍳🧛🏼‍♀️}] Maybe it's because of the logic. Elf and Fairy are daytime people and the vampire is a night time. So let's make the fairy the chef, and the vampire a fighter and see if that puts them into the same scene again. It worked in one image and I received a fairy chef; in another image the fairy helped the chef to cook. 🧝⚔️🧛🏼‍♀️⚔️. [{👩🏽‍🍳🧚‍♀️}] Going back to the paragraph ( ), again it puts the chef and the fairy further in the background but not consistently. It didn't merge them tho in several trials. 🧝⚔️🧛🏼‍♀️⚔️. ({👩🏽‍🍳🧚‍♀️}) 🧝⚔️🧛🏼‍♀️⚔️. ({👩🏽‍🍳🧚‍♀️}) So then I tried all of them [ ] , ( ) , and { } . Strangely, it reversed it and put the chef and fairy in front. It also did merge the fairy and chef into a fairy chef but only 1 in 4 generations. The cook being moved into the foreground remained consistent tho in all 4 generations. 🧝⚔️🧛🏼‍♀️⚔️.
