QT issue: ideas, plans and posible solutions

As you can read on @DavidP and @dirty_biker blog posts (ill link them at the end of this post), it had been a issue the excesive amount of notifications brings the use of the QT list. Going straightly to ideas, plans and inmediate things we can do to manage better this situation, ill start with the point of this blog. Notification Management: When you click the notification bell logo, you can click "See all notifications" as its shown in the image, this will deploy a full page with the notifications shown and the option to select or search them in diffetent categories, lets see it. So this is the notifications full displayed page, as you can see you can toggle to display all of it or just the unread ones, also to see the likes you have received as well the comments, but what we care here is the @ Mentions category. This Mentions category will display the QT posting you have been tagging, because it shows all the times you have been tagging in a post or comment, the usual way the QT works, because it shows all the tag "@" mentions, it will also shown when you get tagged for another list (l4 list or GC lists for example). Exceept for some few cases, most of the time we are using the tagging/mentions of usernames for QT posting, so thats our best thing right now we have in hand to manage our QT notifications. You can notice there is also a Comments section, some people, i included, copy and paste the QT list on the comment section of the post, ok this taggs/mentions of the QT list will be displayed directly on @ Mentions and NOT in the Comments even technically are "comments", what it will shown there are comments without tag/mentions, you will find them the usual comments like "nice" "good image" "i love it" QT RULES IDEAS: To make more strict the use of the QT List and avoid the abuse of it, i have think on rules to limit the excessive notifications. DAILY LIMIT : i have thinking on put a limit of QT you can do per day, i was thinking on 2 because its the necessary for daily reward, still you can post non-qt related post (with this i mean posting without tagging/mention everyone). EternaSky propose 5 per day. THEME : i propose get rid of oddly specific QT themes, sometimes it seems a made-up title to fit with the image so it can get views and likes, meanwhile there are already similar QT running. What is a bad QT theme ? What is a correct QT theme? A example of a bad QT: "cyberpunk orange cat riding futuristic harley davidson bike" This is a very specific, not anyone will have an existing images that fit all that criteria, and few people will like to use credits to create this with all the criteria, maybe someone is interested just in the cat, not in cyberpunk, or in the bike but not a exactly harley davidson one. A example of a good QT: "Cyberpunk" Ok cyberpunk is a specific sci-fi genre with its own criteria, BUT still people will had a lot of freedom on creating something Cyberpunk, because here people can do different subjects, not necessary the orange cat, there is more options, other animals, not animals at all, a male person, female person, group of people or not people at all, a landscape, different actions. Summary; a QT had to have ONE specific theme it could be a style, genre, subject, situation, place but NOT all of them or multiple of them in one, have to select one specific criteria and leave freedom on the other aspects and wider options. CORRECT TITLE AND TAG ORDER: The first words of we will see in the notification, it will possibly the the QT list, will be " antares, aqualemonade" because they are the first of the QT List, and some people wrote descriptions or phrases, and lines below the "QT Cats" so only the first lines will be shown in the notification and we will have to click it to know what QT is or about what is that QT. So i propose; Always start FIRST with "QT: THEME NAME" on the post, make it easier to know if its a proper QT or a nonQT use of the list. When you copy and paste the qt list in the comment section, also FIRST add "QT+THEME NAME" and then the list of names. In both cases we can quickly read the QT and we can join or pass if the theme is of our interest. CONSIDERATIONS: -Avoid post many times an individual image of the same QT, just post multiple in one post -If you have a lot of images that fit a QT, ok post multiple on one post, and try the next day to post more images you have of the same QT, avoid making multiple post of the same QT on the same day. -try to really quote the original source of the QT or at least quote some post of that QT chain, that gives visibility to the original user who post it. -As mention in the recent point, dont abuse of that visibility starting new QT post everytime, try also to QT previous ones. -Just and idea but we can add NSFW/SFW in case its necessary, the SFW in the title we can add it to certain themes who had inplicit violence (guns for example) or sensuality but take on a SFW way.
