On Setting our Culture

One of the things I love about AI art communities is how interconnected we all are. Every image we create builds on foundations laid by others—the model developers, the artists who inspire us, the techniques we learn from each other. As this community grows, I think we have a real opportunity to establish something valuable: a culture of acknowledgment. When someone's work sparks an idea in you, say so. Here's an example from one of my recent posts: https://budgetpixel.com/p/2010 All I did was add this: inspired by @TesaranJ in their wonderful creation https://budgetpixel.com/p/1974 That's it. A quick @mention, a link to their work, and the platform does the rest—showing their original piece right alongside your interpretation. It takes seconds, and it creates a thread connecting our work together. Being open about our inspirations doesn't diminish what we make. It enriches it. It helps others discover artists they might love. And it just feels good to tell someone "hey, your work made me want to create." Let's build that kind of generosity here from the start.
