Inktober 2026 Day 9 : Ram 1. My original drawing. Flash worked but it's not as contrasty as I would like. It's supposed to be a ram but I messed up the horns and was worried the AI wouldn't recognize it. Still I tested the AIs. the next set is my original drawing in image to image plus this prompt: **"using the anthropomorphic character in image 1, the character is snowboarding an avalanche down the side of a mountain in an awesome action pose, having the time of their life"** Notice I didn't say what kind of character so it was up to the AI to guess what I drew. I did not say color so color or monochrome is chosen by the AI. Style is also chosen by the AI as I just described the setting and action. 2. Grok 2 3. GPT 2.5 Sunburst 4. SeeDream 5 Flash 5. Qwen 3 6. muse 1.0 I was happy all the models recognized my drawing was a ram. I thought they might think it was a woman with a 1950s flip hairdo. So that's a plus. The prompt was to see how good the AI was about using personal artwork as a reference image to create a character in a scene. I have to say it did a great job. These are all very cool. I think Qwen #5 was the closest to my drawing and the character had a drawing vibe. The background tho was realistic and I think it should have matched the character style. Next closest was SeeDream #4 because of the eyes. The cgi vibe of the character was ok with the reality vibe of the background like a live action film. Speaking of matching character to background, GPT 2.5 Sunburst #3 did a good job with the pencil style. It's cool. That one is ready to be printed out and colored with color pencils. I like Grok #2 the best. It's not the closest to my character but has a fun vibe. Muse #6 has a very cute vibe. October is Inktober month where people are challenged to do one ink drawing a day. That's great, my friend! I've noticed the eyes look a bit "stoned" again; is that because of the way you drew them? Maybe you could try clearly outlining the iris and distinguishing it from the pupil in your next drawing to see how it turns out.
