Entry in the Subterranea theme on BudgetPixel.

BENEATH THE FUTURE — THE FORGOTTEN WORKERS Far beneath the surface of a world that has forgotten them, six women struggle through another exhausting day in an enormous subterranean industrial civilization. Inspired by the dark underground future of the classic The Time Machine, these women mine mysterious glowing crystals, operate ancient machinery, haul heavy loads, and feed the furnaces that keep their hidden world alive. Dressed in worn, revealing work outfits, rugged heeled boots, and covered in sweat, dust, and grime, they remain remarkably beautiful despite the brutal conditions. Surrounded by towering machines, rusting chains, flickering flames, and endless darkness, they represent a future where humanity has survived — but freedom, daylight, and the comforts of civilization have become distant memories.
