Hand drawn pen sketch of an anthropomorphic apple face — AI art by @CaylaCatz

Entry in the Your Inktober drawings theme on BudgetPixel.
Inktober 2026 Day 1 (October 1) : Apple 1. My original drawing. Sorry it's fuzzy. I'm not great at taking pictures with my camera. The next set of 5 are img-to-img using my drawing with this prompt: "I drew this. Can you make something nice and cool with it?" Yeah, I know. It's a dumb prompt but I couldn't think of anything so I just put down exactly what I was thinking and thought why not? So here's what some models did with my off-the-wall prompt as is, no style suggestions added. 2. Muse 1.0 3. GPT 2 Low 4. SeeDream 5 Flash 5. GPT 2.5 Sunburst 6. Nano Banana 2 Lite October is Inktober month where people are challenged to do one ink drawing a day. You can find the list of this year's prompt on the Inktober site. Inktober was the first to kick off this event but over the years, other sites now put up their own Inktober prompts although they may call it something else. https://inktober.com/rules

oh no! what do you mean? If you're wondering about how to get the pic into BP, waht I do is 1. take a pic with my phone. 2. In my phone, send the pic to me (I used to email it to myself when I had email on my phone, now I upload it to discord. Some people connec their phone to their computer iwth a cord to get their photos on their hard drive. you can also upload phone images to google drive if you have google). 3. download from email, discord, google drive or whatever onto your computer. I am assuming you use a laptop or desktop like me for BP. If you're using your phone, you don't have to do any of this as you can do BP on your phone. I don't do that. 4. image-to-image on BP, click on drag and drop from wherever you put your picture. --- boy, it sounds like a lot of work when I put it like this. Honestly, it's not that much work. --- look what I did with today's with my "relic". Just think you can draw a map, upload it, and see my #6 image today, how I put it in a scene

this seems like too much work for you. So this is not a suggestions for you to do. More like I like to ramble and problem solve. -- I used to take pics on a regular camera and send it to my computer with a cord but I don't know anybody but me who does that. --- some cameras have a tiny card that you can put in your computer -- My library has a copy machine that is also a scanner so you can scan an image directly to a thumb drive and get it into your computer that way. --- I don't think you should do this. Not for a daily sketch. Too much trouble. But someday for one of your stories, if you want a hand-drawn map that you drew to put in a story picture, the library scanner would give you an option. If your library has one.--- I have a $30 phone that is semi-smart. It can take pics and do internet but not read barcodes. Bugs me that everybody wants you to sign up for stuff with their square barcode.

laughing. yes you can! draw a circle and stick a stick on it. The interesting thing anyways is that it does not matter how bad you draw, if you give it to the ai as an img-to-img, it will make it into a masterpiece for you. Seriously, draw a circle, add a line, upload it and tell the AI that the witch is giving this "beautiful apple" to snow white and see what happens. If you don't do it, I will! I'd do it in Nano Banana because look what it did to my apple!

Now, that you mentioned this, I should tell you. While at the village, with stories cooking in my mind, I decided to by a digital photo camera. a cheap one. The idea is to take photos of actual places amd incorporate them in my stories. I believe - without knowing that a simple flash drive is what is needed to transfer the photos to my pc. If not, if some cord is needed, I'll get that too. I will do that, by the by, so at some point i will be able to do this one here, too.

I ended up creating images based off a drawing I did as a kid copying from one of my grandmother’s how to draw books (Image of a magnolia flower). It’s not an inktober theme. I can post here if you’re okay with it, otherwise I will post in model compare and credit you for idea.

yeah, it was fun. I agree. NB came out of nowhere. It was my last one I made and I was so suprised. Made me laugh. Next one is relic and I have no clue what to draw.,

Let me stop you right there. I don't have a smartphone, thus no internet and I don't have the small cable that is needed to connact the phone I do have to my PC. Thus...

Interesting idea and good results. The SD was the best for me and the nanobanan the most surprising
