Whimsical witch holds a metal bucket as glowing winged fairies pour honey from a giant beehive at twilight
This enchanting fantasy scene features a gentle dark witch in an ornate black lace gown standing beneath an ancient oak at dusky twilight. Translucent glowing fairies in leafy dresses pour shimmering golden honey from a large hanging beehive into her bucket, while tiny sprites rest on her hat and shoulder. Warm honeyed light contrasts with deep indigo dusk, with a twinkling fairytale palace visible across a lush moonlit garden in the distance.

Nothing sinister. They are comfortable to take naps on her and read books on her hat!

crabmouse

What do you think the fae want in exchange for the honey?

crabmouse

I was asking because I wondered what you thought as a writer!

Cute image! I love the fairies!

oh understood - i needed to think about it a bit - i haven't dealt with witches and fae yet - I guess there are common ones "one memory for a one bucket" - I like "an unnamed favor" that is classic, sinister and scary. I guess it depends what kind of story you have in mind. I like sinister ...

crabmouse

Thank you! Not only do the produce the honest but they help her collect it! Don't worry, she helps them out too!

germancowboy

Three dreams β€” the fae may visit any three dreams she has in the future and take whatever they find there.

crabmouse

Oh! That must be some really good honey! One item from each dream? I wonder what they take from the first!

crabmouse

They love their witch and are happy to help!
