Young woman reaches toward glowing floral arches framing a royal… — AI art by @beastxyz

"A ghostly wedding procession passes silently through the flower market, unseen by the living. Flowers flew from their stalls and drifted toward the procession, offering their blessings to the marriage." I submitted this knowing that it would not do well. I tried to come up with a narrative that connects midnight and flower market, and thought about a ghost parade in the middle of the flower market. I later changed it to a ghost wedding procession so that the flowers in the flower market can be more relevant in the narrative. It is probably too complex a narrative to be told in an image, and the fact that the visual did not convey the flying of the flowers well meant that the visual had failed. But I was not motivated to switch to something else and decided to use it anyway. Ended up 36th out of 56 entries. Well, at least it is not bottom 10. (P.S. Very cool! It's lovely on a big screen. I think voting, a lot of people use phones so the details might not work on a small screen. Love the microtory.
