About this image

This dramatic dark fantasy digital illustration features a fierce, battle-worn royal dragon queen wearing an ornate jeweled golden crown and dark gilded armor, with blood and sweat on her skin as she stares intensely at the viewer. Looming to her right is a massive menacing black scaled dragon, roaring with glowing red eyes, embers and flame spilling from its open jaws against a smoldering fiery battlefield backdrop. The piece uses rich deep tones of obsidian black, fiery red, and metallic gold to create an intense, powerful, menacing epic fantasy mood.
