[Giant shaggy Lovecraftian entity Ithaqua looms over tiny arctic explorers trekking through a stormy frozen mountain valle...
This atmospheric dark fantasy illustration depicts Ithaqua, the Cthulhu Mythos Great Old One of the far north, towering over a small party of lantern-carrying arctic explorers crossing a blizzard-swept mountain pass. Rendered in moody cool icy grey and pale blue tones, the massive shaggy, clawed snow monster looms out of the misty storm, dwarfing the human expedition to emphasize its cosmic, terrifying scale. Printed lore text in the upper right corner explains Ithaqua's mythos as a weather-controlling polar entity that dwells beneath northern ice.

I didn't know that. I think Legion recognized it too. I just saw someone else make one and I thought it looked cool so I dropped in the name and only hte name (1-word prompt) into a prompt so I'd remember it.

thank you for the compliment and for the award. I'm glad you like the Ithaqua. I just saw it for the first time on someone's post. Scary

Yeah Ithaqua is some Wendigo like elder evil of the Cthulhu mythos. (but not invented by Lovecraft himself) https://lovecraft.fandom.com/wiki/Ithaqua
