Entry in the Storytelling #01 theme on BudgetPixel.

Posted these a couple days ago with no tags and virtually no one saw. These are illustrative panels I made to attempt to create a video of my song 'No Home, No Problem'. This seems like the perfect place to tell the story of my homeless little alien finding a new place to live.

[Whimsical 3D illustration of a distressed alien tenant being evicted from a lunar home by a grumpy alien landlord, starry... — This humorous, whimsical 3D sci-fi illustration depicts a playful eviction scene set on a rocky moon surface, where a distraught green alien tenant holding a suitcase of memories is ordered out by a stuffy top-hat wearing alien landlord named Lord Lunatrix. The detailed, cozy grungy scene is filled with quirky props including a "Beam Me Up" coffee mug, tiny alien pets, an eviction squad rover, and hand-painted signs, with a view of planet Earth hanging in the starry outer space backdrop. The warm, playful tone leans into relatable jokes about rising rent, housing insecurity, and celebrating weirdness, rendered in a rich earthy and purple fantasy color palette.

[Cute big-eyed green alien reads a book in a whimsical cluttered spaceship cockpit overlooking starry outer space and gala... — This whimsical, cozy sci-fi illustration features a cute big-eyed green alien in a knit beanie and star-patterned pajamas, relaxing in a charmingly messy, decor-filled spaceship control room. The alien reviews a "Milky Ways" guidebook, surrounded by silly handwritten signs, a "Beam Me Snacks" coffee mug, tiny fuzzy alien pets, and playful knickknacks, with a sweeping view of swirling spiral galaxies, Saturn, and deep starry space through the large cockpit window. Rich warm purple, bright green, and deep cosmic blue tones create a playful, humorous cottagecore space vibe full of quirky, delightful tiny details.

4-panel whimsical comic following a cute backpacking green alien searching for a home across Mars, Venus, Saturn, and Pluto — This charming, funny 4-panel cozy sci-fi illustration follows a wide-eyed green alien in a patched purple beanie as they travel across the solar system searching for a welcoming place to settle. Each panel reveals a silly, relatable problem with each location: an arid, uninviting Mars, a strict rule-heavy Venus community, an overstimulating loud Saturn rave, and a cozy low-key Pluto pub where the alien shares a drink with the sad dwarf planet. The art features rich, warm painterly styling, playful hand-drawn signage, and humorous commentary on relatable everyday frustrations wrapped in a whimsical space theme.

[Cute alien realtor holds a review clipboard at a whimsical Galaxy Real Estate open house next to a swirling cosmic black ... — This playful surreal fantasy illustration depicts a friendly green alien real estate agent reviewing property ratings at a quirky intergalactic Galaxy Real Estate open house. The rich deep purple cosmic backdrop features a swirling black hole, floating alien planets, a cozy whimsical cottage, and humorous hand-painted signs touting low crime, no meteor showers, and a separate "black hole open house" listing. Warm glowing fairy light accents, tiny cute alien pet characters, and silly sci-fi themed details including a "beam me some coffee" mug give the art a cozy, charming whimsical mood.

[Cute big-eyed green alien sits holding a taco in front of a worn, colorful intergalactic taco food truck.] — This hyper-detailed whimsical fantasy illustration depicts a gritty, vibrant intergalactic street food scene, where a cute big-eyed green alien in a cozy purple knit hat sits on the pavement holding a taco next to a crash-damaged turquoise and pink taco truck. Playful pun-filled signage, neon cactus decorations, scattered street clutter, and warm string lights create a quirky sci-fi atmosphere, with funny text including "Tortillas Not Borders" and "You Found Your Tribe". The textured, cinematic art balances grungy worn details with cozy, playful charm for a one-of-a-kind surreal food art piece.

[Cute big-eyed green alien sits cross-legged on a city sidewalk holding a "beam me up" coffee mug next to a "no home no pr... — This whimsical sci-fi digital illustration features a friendly, big-eyed green alien sitting cross-legged on a gritty urban alley sidewalk, holding a steaming "beam me up" coffee mug beside a hand-painted "No home, no problem" cardboard sign. The scene is decorated with bright dripping hot pink peace sign graffiti, playful tiny alien side characters, a retro boombox, discarded pizza box, and humorous handwritten signs, leaning into a cozy positive weirdcore hippie aesthetic. The warm charming mood uses a vibrant palette of purple, neon pink, teal, and soft greens to blend urban street art vibes with lighthearted extraterrestrial charm.

Yup, the only way to prevent tagging like that is to ban it outright and THAT creates another set of issues. Look the simple truth is that as long as 200 credits is tied up in getting likes on a post people are going to spam tag the crap out of what they post. And I honestly don't blame them for that. Of the three generative AI sites I visit daily this is the only one that hands out credits based on receiving likes in addition to handing them out. It's something to think about....

I have a general tag group but don't use that on an image posted in the clan. But not all images I post and then add tags to are in one of my clan themes and still want some visibility. And even if it wasn't for likes, when you post you still want images to be seen and get some feedback. If you don't care then don't publish

Very cool set. Funny but sad too. I thought he was going to settle outside the black hole and hope he didn't get sucked in. The taco truck needs a new motor. Be cool to make it an itntergalactic food truck with stops at random moons although may be hard to keep food stuff in stock.

I get that it could be an issue. It was especially problematic because you could be tagged multiple times on the same image or blog. However I can already see that this business of clan tagging is not significantly slowing those numbers down for me and that's with people still figuring out the new system.

It exposes that the gallery not being at the forefront and is hidden in another click becomes a problem in experiencing the site. Also the gallery shows every image in a post. It can get flooded really quick. Feeds are good but they’re too random and luck on algorithm.

@justash An issue I raised with King is that tags and clan notifications go to the same mentions option - I think. So while I love the clan as it collects the QT images on a theme in one place I don't think it addresses the mention notification flood.

DavidP

And there are folk who are chasing way more likes than the 50 required. So you can get mentioned on multiple versions of images all for a single QT theme, and the rest

Thank you! Appreciate the tip! Not sure if you saw my reply to CaylaCatz, but it was your C H A prompt that got me the original image that inspired the song.

Sealine

I like clan but the issue is now there are people posting in clans AND tagging everyone across 5-6 comments. It is frustrating.

JustAsh

Yeah if it's not tag it's not getting noticed. And now of course they've made tagging harder....
