More Unchosen Butterfly Duchess The rejects I'm going through right now and deleting some. I found out if I post them, even if I delete them, the image remains in the post. So this is way for me to keep a record of all of them even the ones I've deleted. Among these, about half are kept. 1. gpt 2 low. I did put crayons in the prompt so actually I quite like this one with the crayon background. 2. wan 2.6 . No. This one the elements didn't jive. 3. seedream 4.5. ethereal and pretty 4. nano banana . This one is fun. I love the dress. I do not love the pose. Very static to drop someone in the middle like that just standing. 5. recraft 4 . Recraft likes to do real. But it's not great at dress design so the high fashion look misses for me 6. imageineart 1.5 . She looks very real in front of a surreal backdrop

A lot of people like symmetry. That's why it is so popular on Instagram and tiktok. I learned composition from paintings and art photography which does not like symmetry much. Anime and manga often use slightly angled stands, or one hand might be near the face. These kind of things make an image come alive. A straight on shot like #4 is like a clothes catalog picture. Good for seeing the clothes. If her pose is more active, you notice her more instead of her clothes. Androids and robots often are shown with pose like this because the static pose makes them feel not alive. The thing is the full frontal let's you see her dress very well which I like. Her dress is cool. All those details, that bodice. Because she is static, the focus shifts to her elaborate clothes. It's also an end-of-the-runway pose before the model turns around. I don't know how to fix it. I should study some manga/graphic novel covers for hand poses. Some people make a lot of money doing symmetrical images tho.

People say that symmetry is also Plato's idea of perfectionism and beauty. For me instead of a straight line down the middle dividing a picture in half, I prefer the diagonal line or the S curve in images. But yeah, in a face and body, symmetry is a good thing. I just disagree that symmetry in poses is a good thing except in catalog or product photos.
