About this image

A pair of dancers glide across a luxurious ballroom in elegant period attire—one in a cream ivory gown with gloves and the other in a burgundy dress. The scene, lit by chandeliers, exudes old-world romance and formal evening wear, with other couples in the background creating a classic aristocratic ballroom atmosphere.

A pair of women in vintage evening gowns share a champagne toast in an elegant dining room with tall windows and gold accents. The ivory dress and burgundy satin gown, paired with gloves and jewelry, create a refined, period-inspired atmosphere perfect for luxury fashion or historical drama themes.

A refined scene featuring two women in period-inspired evening dresses—one in ivory satin with gold embroidery and long gloves, the other in a burgundy satin gown. The mood is sophisticated and classic, highlighting luxurious fabrics, intricate detailing, and 19th/early 20th-century fashion in a dimly lit hallway.

Thank you. That was an interesting time back then. Fashion-wise there was only Harper's Bazar (still using the German spelling) since 1867, Vogue came out 1882. And then I thought of the "Boston Marriage" of Alice Austen and Maude Adams, so I went for dresses and a kiss.

Of course, I wrote it wrong, Alice Austin with Gertrude Tate and Maude Adams with Lillie Florence and later with Louise Boynton.

I don't know much about fashion (I'm a STEM girl haha), but I think you mean Gertrude Tate, not Maude Adams...
