About this image

A dramatic fantasy scene featuring a bearded mage in gilded robes and a long cloak, wielding a magical staff as a luminous blue portal hums nearby. He stands in a ruined, opulent hall while armored soldiers guard the doorway, creating a tense, epic battle mood with rich textures, gold detailing, and neon light from the portal.

Ah! Shadowrun! sore point for me... I always wanted to play those games - even one - and all these years, I STILL haven't done it

Yeah, the lore is that the aristocracy are mages, and the lower classes are Tech Noir / Cybepunk lite. I really like Shadowrun 😀

Impressive! He must be high up in the hierarchy. I like the bodyguards armor as well!

Shadowrun: Dragonfall is a FANTASTIC game! Heard many great things about the old one on SNES, but never got around to giving it a run, unfortunately.
