Antique engraved lantern with lit candle, ribbon bow and holly decoration

About this PNG

Fine black line engraving of a standing lantern holding a lit candle, decorated with a fabric bow and holly sprig in a classic vintage encyclopedia illustration style. Perfect for holiday stationery, festive editorial designs and vintage decor projects.

Prompt: “Antique nineteenth-century engraving of An antique engraving of a hand-held carriage lantern with a lit candle inside, a sprig of holly and a ribbon bow tied to its ring handle, standing upright. Fine black ink lines with dense cross-hatching, an even off-white paper colour filling the inside of the subject, no other colour, the look of an old encyclopedia plate. One single subject, whole and centred with empty space all around it, on a plain flat mid-grey background, evenly lit, with no gradient and no shadow on the background. No text, no letters, no numbers, no logos, no watermark, no frame, no border, no extra objects” — AI-generated, its background removed, and reviewed for quality before listing.

Editor's note (9.0/10): The image matches the brief perfectly with consistent fine cross-hatching, no artefacts, correct subject details and clean composition, only a very minor deviation from the requested ring handle to a curled hook does not impact usability.
