About this illustration

Gentle storybook-style watercolour illustration of a centered red squirrel clutching an acorn, set on a flat even mid-grey background. It is ideal for children's book art, nature editorial content, and seasonal wildlife themed designs.

Prompt: “Soft watercolour illustration of a red squirrel holding an acorn. Gentle washes, fine detail, storybook style, warm and friendly. One subject, whole and centred with empty space all around it, on a plain flat mid-grey background, evenly lit, with no gradient and no shadow on the background. No text,” — AI-generated and reviewed for quality before listing.

Editor's note (9.0/10): The illustration closely matches all brief requirements, with consistent watercolour detail, correct anatomy, and a clean plain background, earning a high score with only minor room for further subtle softening of wash edges.
