New Video Creation: Deeper Into A Nightmare

By paulie

files.catbox.moe/didx0l.mp4 42 second little video I used to test a couple of newly developed processes. I think it came out "pretty not-bad" 😁

Very interesting video, a little nightmarish maybe, but great atmosphere and light contrast. Also, that black smoke effect on the ground where the lady is running are intriguing. Go on!

Right, the smoke was a nice touch. I did not call for smoke in particular but did ask for encroaching darkness so it was a logical reaction.

that is pretty good, I like it, if you can talk about the way you did it in the blog, it would be better.

My typical use of Grok is to create a page of pictures, then select the one I like best to begin my video. My video settings always include the start term: "no background music, no text". (I use the text line because the first time I stopped the music, I was getting words printed on the video about 25% of the time!") Then, when you get a clip that's usable, copy the final frame and restart with that as your start frame. The next video will prompt while you're trying to type in your prompt. Sometimes it's usable, but usually not due to the "no background music" thing. (Note: If you're not going to have any speaking or sound effects, then the no background music doesn't matter because when you get to the clip-joining site, you can mute the video) At that point it literally becomes rinse and repeat. (I have found it's in your later interest to save the videos to your computer in the order you intend them to flow; if you forget and go back later to find one, it's a much harder route LOL)

Quite amazing what can be created now. Not something I want to get into (spend enough time trying to get better still images, but am appreciating what people can create now.
