About the entries
Most of these works are cinematic fantasy and digital illustration, with some painterly oil art and whimsical Studio Ghibli style pieces mixed in. Common subjects include pirate captains, crew battles, tropical beaches, galleon ships, Jolly Roger flags, treasure, and swashbuckling action. The shared color palette leans heavily on warm golden hour sunset hues, bright blue ocean tones, and dark moody shades for battle scenes. Most compositions center on characters on ship decks, with moods ranging from tense confrontations to quiet, relaxed moments and joyful crew gatherings.
