**WLW What-if Set: Love at the Drive-In — Before the Drive-In** What if the drive-in movie theater had been invented thousands of years early? From Stone Age spectators parking beside mammoths to Egyptian chariots along the Nile, Roman carriages beneath torchlight, medieval wagons outside castle walls, lavish 18th-century coaches, and Victorian carriages beneath gas lamps, every era gets its own wildly inappropriate version of movie night. And because history clearly needed better entertainment, the after-hours feature in each century just happens to be a love story between women. Six impossible cinemas, six very different crowds, and proof that apparently neither movies nor romance were willing to wait for the invention of the automobile.
