FLUX 3 Video Upscale
Black Forest Labs' FLUX 3 super-resolution for video. Take a 480p or 720p clip to 1440p or 4K with real fine detail, the frame rate and the sound kept.
Priced by output size: 1080p from 188 credits a second, 4K from 752.

- Frame rate and audio
FLUX 3 Video Upscale redraws every frame at a larger size instead of stretching it. Fur, skin, brickwork and foam come back as detail rather than blur, and it stays steady from frame to frame.
It is made for clips that start small: generate at 480p or 720p to save credits, then upscale only the take you keep. Pick precise to keep faces, products and logos exactly as they are, or creative to let FLUX add texture.

What does FLUX 3 Video Upscale do?
It makes a video 1.5 to 3 times larger with Black Forest Labs' FLUX 3, redrawing each frame with real detail instead of stretching it. A 480p clip becomes 1440p at 3×, and a 720p clip becomes 4K. The frame rate and the audio stay as they were.
Precise or creative: which should I choose?
Precise keeps the source as it is and sharpens it, so faces, products and logos do not change. Creative adds fine detail the clip never had, such as fur, skin and textures, which suits generated footage and scenery; faces and products can drift a little. Creative costs more.
How much does it cost?
It is priced by the output: its megapixels times its seconds, at 95 credits per megapixel-second in precise mode and 135 in creative. A 5-second 480p clip upscaled 3× to 1440p costs 1,672 credits in precise mode, and a 5-second 720p clip upscaled to 4K costs 3,758. The workshop shows the exact price before you start.
Which videos can I upscale?
Clips up to 20 seconds and up to 2560×1440 (100 MB). For a larger video, or for 60 fps, use Topaz Video Upscale, which takes any size.
Does it keep the frame rate and the sound?
Yes. The upscaled video has the same frame rate and the same audio track as the clip you upload, in an H.264 MP4 that plays in every browser.
How long does it take?
About two minutes for a 5-second clip at 1440p. 4K and longer clips take a few minutes more. You can leave the page: the video lands in your assets when it is done.
Am I charged if it fails?
No. The price is set aside when the upscale starts and charged only when it succeeds; a failed upscale costs nothing.
Can I use it from the API or with an AI assistant?
Yes. Call POST /v1/video-upscales/flux-3-video-upscale with a video URL, upscale_factor and mode, or ask an assistant connected to the BudgetPixel MCP server to upscale a video with model flux-3-video-upscale.
