What changes the price
- Output is billed per second, by resolution: 480p, 720p or 1080p. Any length from 4 to 30 seconds costs the same per second.
- Audio (dialogue, music and sound effects generated with the clip) is included at no extra cost.
- Reference images (up to 15) and reference audio (up to 5 clips) are free. Reference videos, used for editing and extension, are billed per second of input at half the output rate.
- Failed generations are not charged.
How we priced it
The job. Every figure is for the same 8-second 720p clip with audio. Where a platform can't run exactly that, its closest option is priced and marked.
BudgetPixel figures come live from the billing system that charges for the job (2,640 credits), converted with each plan's own price and monthly credits. Permanent plan discounts are included; time-limited promotions are shown on the plan table but left out of the comparison, as they are for every other platform.
Other platforms are priced from their own pricing pages and help docs on the date shown, using the cheapest plan that can run Seedance 2.5: plan price ÷ plan credits × credits per clip. - Dreamina (ByteDance’s own app) does not publish a per-clip credit cost for Seedance 2.5, and third-party figures disagree.
- Krea’s app meters Seedance 2.5 in compute units with no published rate. Its developer API is listed above.
- Artlist and Leonardo: their pricing pages could not be checked.
- InVideo sells Seedance 2.5 at 1080p only, so it cannot run the same 720p job.
- LTX Studio offers Seedance 2.0, not 2.5.
