Stargate Veil of Redemption
By Matthew Troxler
For about a year or so now, I've been writing a Stargate Fan Fiction novel called "Stargate Veil of Redemption". I've been posting on various sites here and there, so I thought I bring it here to BudgetPixel. I'm going to post the most recent chapter first and then go back to the beginning. Chapter Summary: As the shadow of the Lady spreads deeper into Eversham, SG-24 and the Seabees race to protect the village and contain the growing threat. While Helena wrestles with fear, guilt, and the burden of truths yet unspoken, the team uncovers long-buried remnants of the Ancients—evidence that the planet’s past holds secrets far greater than they imagined. With danger drawing closer and time running short, faith, friendship, and discovery converge as the next stage of the battle begins. Previously on Stargate: Veil of Redemption… Haunted by visions of a distant medieval world, former Air Force officer turned Carmelite nun Sister Helena of the Cross contacted Stargate Command and was assigned to join SG-24 under Lieutenant Colonel Marcus Larkin. Together, they traveled to Eversham—a hidden human world descended from medieval Christian people taken from Earth centuries ago, whom SG-1 liberated from the clutches of the Goa'uld Sokar some twenty-five years ago. But the village is no longer safe. A Goa’uld posing as a Marian figure known as the Lady has begun turning the people against the Tau’ri, spreading fear and division throughout the community. As SG-24 works to protect the villagers, Helena struggles with the weight of her past as a former Rogue NID operative—especially the secret she still carries about Colonel Larkin’s brother. Now the Lady’s influence is growing, the village is on the brink of unrest, and ancient secrets buried beneath Eversham are beginning to awaken. The battle for the soul of the world has begun. https://archiveofourown.org/works/66111325/chapters/210968171
