Why did my generation fail, and what should I do?
Updated September 24, 2026
Generations fail when a model’s safety filter refuses the input, when an input can’t be used, or when the model errors or times out. You’re never charged for a failed generation, so you can try again, changing the prompt or inputs if the message suggests it.
Common messages
- Flagged as sensitive by the model’s safety filter: try different wording or a different input.
- Timed out or failed on our side: try again.
- Insufficient credits … after pending jobs: credits held for jobs still running count against your balance until they finish.
- Queue limit reached: wait for a running job to finish. Your plan sets how many generations run at once.
Jobs that run too long are ended automatically (after up to 30 minutes for video) and aren’t charged. Still having trouble? Contact support with the model you used and roughly when.
