Textured oil painting of a winding mountain highway with a sedan driving past a graffiti-covered welcome sign — This expressive impressionist oil painting shows a winding rural mountain highway cutting through a late fall valley, with a vintage sedan traveling toward snow-dusted rugged peaks. A hand-painted roadside welcome sign defaced with bright orange graffiti sits next to bare trees and evergreen forest under a muted overcast purple-grey sky. Thick visible brushstrokes create a quiet, somber off-season rural atmosphere.

Impressionist impasto painting of the Black Lodge with red velvet curtains and chevron zigzag carpet — Thick textured impasto oil painting depicting the iconic Twin Peaks Black Lodge, lined with heavy deep crimson stage curtains framing a signature brown and cream chevron zigzag floor. The mood is uncanny, surreal and dreamlike, dominated by rich deep red tones and warm earthy browns. Visible bold brushstrokes give the mysterious, atmospheric scene a tangible, tactile quality.

Expressive impasto oil painting of a cozy vintage living room with a figure standing behind a patterned sofa — This thick brushstroke oil painting depicts a moody dim evening inside a vintage home, lit by warm amber glow from a large fringed red table lamp. The intimate domestic scene features a floral upholstered sofa lined with plush decorative throw pillows, a copper vase of bright orange tiger lilies, and a lone figure standing in the pink patterned dining nook in the background. Rich warm red, plum, and soft lavender tones create a quiet, atmospheric cozy home vibe.

Two men face each other, one extending a hand, on a stage in front of red theater curtains — This moody impasto oil painting captures a tense standoff between two men standing on a dimly lit theater stage. Dramatic side lighting casts a crisp rim glow on the figures, set against a backdrop of deep plush red stage curtains. The color palette leans into rich crimson, purple, and deep shadowed tones for a cinematic noir atmosphere.

Impressionist oil portrait of a smiling blonde pageant queen wearing a sparkling jeweled tiara — This expressive impasto oil painting depicts a warm, smiling pageant winner with a curled blonde updo and sparkling diamond tiara, rendered with rich textured brushstrokes. Soft golden light catches her peachy skin against a muted lilac background, with a partial gleaming gold championship trophy visible to the left of the gilded frame. Hubby knew it from the images but never watched it. The title was familiar, but I was surprised at the genre when I looked it up. My teenage self was more into Beverly Hills 90210 at the time.

But now I'm starting to think maybe I want to watch it. Going to have to see if I can stream it somewhere.
