Roman legionaries push an ornate war chariot carrying a chained slain dragon during a fiery victory procession
This gritty dark fantasy illustration depicts a brutal Roman triumph procession, where muscular soldiers strain to haul a gilded ceremonial chariot holding a bloodied dead dragon chained to its frame. Flickering torchlight and the glow of a burning ancient city backlight the scene, casting warm golden highlights over crimson fabrics, polished gold armor, and mud-caked blood-soaked ground. The mood is epic, grim, and visceral, leaning into a gritty historical fantasy aesthetic.
